Pukekohe - Cape Hill Project
This project was carried out in 2005/06 and is situated on a rural lifestyle block in Pukekohe, South Auckland. The site is a north eastly facing slope bordered by pasture on one side and a stand of native bush on the other. The clients aims were to construct an outdoor entertaining garden space, with the centerpiece to be an inground pool. With these parameters in mind, i designed the pool to utilise the gradient , allowing a waterfall feature piece, with a small infinity edge face to the main pool also. The planting is based on a native / subtropical mix and will continue to grow well over time, creating a sheltered haven in which to enjoy the water.
